Whether you're setting off on a weekend ride into the countryside or heading out into the mountains for a longer tour, the Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 will help bring the world closer.
Cube's iconic Kathmandu lineup now gains the benefits of a super-light carbon frame and a Bosch SX-powered boost.
Key to the new range is the light carbon frame – choose from classic crossbar or an accessible Easy Entry design – with matching full carbon forks. Made from Cube's proprietary C:62 carbon, the lighter frame and fork sacrifice nothing in the strength and durability department – and a lighter touring bike means, of course, that it's better to ride.
Complementing the frame's elegant functionality and light weight is the Bosch's SX drive system with up to 55Nm on tap and a 400Wh battery, it's a real energy champion. There is also the option to add a 250Wh PowerMore range extender.
Pedal faster, pick up speed even faster: the Performance Line SX works at least as hard as you do, it's sensitive and responsive. If you're dreaming of long-distance adventures and don't yet know exactly which surfaces await you and you want to ride dynamically on the road the Performance Line SX is a perfect choice.
The Kiox display offers natural-feeling support for every rider, with clear, visual guidance and intuitive operation.
The Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 SLX 400X features Shimano's reliable 12-speed Deore gears with advanced shifting performance and Shimano’s BR-M6100 lightweight hydraulic disc brakes with reliable stopping power and braking performance in all conditions.
The rugged Newmen Beskar 30 wheels are shod with grippy Schwalbe G-One Overland 50mm tyres which are designed specifically for both on-road and off-road use and ultralight Schwalbe Aerothan tubes.
IC 3.0 rear carrier incorporates an exceptionally sturdy luggage rack into the structure of the frame, for an almost organic look that's as practical as it is elegant.
Internal cable routing flatters the frame's clean lines whilst helping to reduce maintenance.
Of course a touring bike needs to be practical too, and it's here that the Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 really shines. From its future-proof UDH gear hanger to clearance for 50mm tyres, the detail is all about making it easy to live with.
The included full length mudguards, lighting set, and kickstand are all adventure-ready, and there's scope to run a handlebar-mounted bag for even more carrying capacity.
It may be light, but it‘s no lightweight.
