Olimpia Splendid Unico Vertical 35HP EVAN

The Olimpia Splendid Unico Vertical 35HP EVAN is a monobloc air conditioner that’s fit for environments where traditional split systems are not practical. As both the evaporator and condenser are housed together in one single unit, we frequently recommend these monobloc units for installation in listed buildings and luxury apartments.

Why Choose the Unico Vertical?

Its slim and vertical design allows you to slot this 3.5kW monobloc air conditioner into a variety of different spaces. I’ve seen these units fit into many awkward spaces such as corners, narrow halls, and other areas that would often remain unused.

This unit features 12,000 BTU of cooling power and is recommended for spaces up to 35m². All it needs for installation is two external holes which is ideal for preserving the exterior of listed buildings and high-rise apartments.

Advanced Inverter Technology

The Unico Vertical 35HP EVAN uses a DC inverter compressor to modulate its power as opposed to frequently cycling on and off. This helps to prevent spikes in energy and saves up to 30% on your energy bills. Features just like this I find are most noticeable in open-plan living spaces, where a steady temperature is often more comfortable than bursts of cool air from fixed speed air conditioners.

Year-Round Use & Quiet Comfort

The 35HP EVAN features a reverse cycle heat pump that provides heating for the Spring and Autumn months. I find this feature most useful when the nights start drawing in and the temperature inside starts to drop, but when switching the central heating on seems excessive.

Internal noise from some monobloc systems is often customers' primary concern. Olimpia Splendid have finally solved this issue with added sound dampening materials and operating levels as low as 27 dB(A).
