Less E, more bike means more natural assistance and longer rides. A ride this good is only possible when you consider power, range and handling together, right from the start. Everything is a balance. The Urrun takes similarities from the 2025 Orbea Rise SL & LT, which uses the brand new RS Gen 2 technology - specifically designed by Orbea with the Shimano Motor. Urrun offers new ways to ride, perfectly matching longer adventures or shorter, faster rides. In RS mode the motor gives the most elastic assistance and longest range for epic adventures. RS + mode A little extra assistance can feel more natural on technical climbs, at lower cadences, or when you just need a bit more punch. RS+ is for these occasions, increasing maximum assistance to 85Nm.

The Shimano EP motors have some of the most accurate sensors and the fastest monitoring capabilities. That is key. The RS Gen2 firmware uses these capabilities to mirror rider effort more closely than ever.

Less E, more bike means forgetting about range anxiety. The natural assistance works with you to involve you in the ride, providing power where it is needed and conserving battery life elsewhere.

630Wh Means Maximum Range the 630Wh battery has been developed using the latest cell technology. The result is more energy per gram than any other battery currently on the market. Packing more energy into a smaller space, with less weight, is key for lightweight e-bikes. The 630wh Battery can then be teamed up with a 210Wh Range Extender if required.

That Magic Feel

Designing a little bit of compliance into a frame adds comfort and also helps the bike track the ground better, especially at speed. The result is more control, and less fatigue on longer rides. The Frame is brand new, designed of the analogue Laufey geometry with the rider truly in the cockpit. It uses high polished hydroformed alloy teamed up with a 120mm Fork to recreate that trail ready geometry. 

Every tube has been considered to tune the rigidity and offer the most fun, responsive ride possible whilst also reducing vibrations. The sloping top-tube, slacker fork angle, and longer reach add stability in faster rougher sections or on the descents.

The short, uninterupted seat-tube lets riders use longer travel dropper posts, making the bike easier to ride on the downhills but also making it easier to control with a fully loaded rack.
